Tambja capensis (Bergh, 1907)

Tambja capensis, commonly known as the The black nudibranch is blue-black coloured with a bright turquoise marginal line. Some specimens are brownish with a purple marginal line. Gills and rhinophores are black.

Nudibranchs of genus Tambja feed on bryozoans.Tambja capensis feeds on Bugula dentata (Dentate moss animal) and Bugula neritina (Neritic moss animal).
