The mantle with a smooth skin and bluish-edged purple spots. Gills and rhinophores creamy in colour. Its body colour varies from a creamy yellow through pinks to purples.The large egg ribbon is yellow-orange in colour.
The inkspot nudibranch feeds exclusively on sponges.
