Info

is a little-known goby from the north-western Pacific.
Its body color is a bright yellow-blue with five or six faint, semi-circular markings.
There is a large black crescent on the back of the first dorsal fin and four or five dark longitudinal stripes on the caudal fin.

There are three clearly visible pairs of whiskers under the chin of the goby.

It is interesting to note that the pelvic fins are fused to form a suction cup, as is known from shield bellies.

Synonym: Chaeturichthys sciistius Jordan & Snyder, 1901
