Anoplocapros lenticularis (Richardson, 1841)

Anoplocapros lenticularis is an Australian aracanid boxfish found in fairly deepwater parts of the Indian Ocean of the western and southern coasts.

A temperate marine species and found in cooler waters. This fish needs cooler temperatures. Boxfishes need a lot of hiding places and holes to feel home in a tank.

Boxfish can potentially poison other inhabitants if threatened.
