Pleuractis taiwanensis Hoeksema and Dai, 1991

Characters: Polyps are elongate and up to 280 millimetres long with irregular sides. They are thick and heavy and usually have a strong central arch. Most primary septa extend from the mouth to the perimeter. There are many secondary mouths.

Colour: Brown, with white tentacles.

Habitat: Reef environments.

Abundance: Uncommon.

Similar species: Fungia moluccensis
