Distribution
Eastern Central Atlantic: known only from Cape Verde, endemic.

Biology
Adults inhabit rocky inshore areas.
Oviparous, distinct pairing during breeding.
Eggs are demersal and adhere to the substrate. Males guard and aerate the eggs.
