Pontonides ankeri Marin, 2007

Pontonides ankeri appears to be widely distributed in the Indo-West Pacific, e.g., in the Seychelles, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Taiwan, Japan, Australia, French Polynesia and Hawaiii. They grows up to 1.5 cm. Is found exclusively on the branches of black coral Cirrhipathes sp.

Type locality: Nhatrang Bay, Vietnam.

The species is named ""ankeri" in honour of Dr. Arthur Anker.

Similar to Pontonides loloata.
