Was found at a depth of about 7m on the top of a Halimeda plant at night on a Kwajalein Atoll lagoon reef on 18 July 2009.

The background colour is white. Trinchesia acinosa have very long yellow cerata(white spotted) and extremely long yellow rhinophores.It feeds on hydrozoa polyps.
