This scale worm is a common tropical and sub-tropical species of Lepidonotus.It's probably L. melanogrammus. The colour is variable,scales can be solid in different shades of black, brown, green, and red or spotted.
It is usually found under or between rocks.
The name Scale worme refers to the scales on the dorsal side of this species.
