Pseudocoutierea wirtzi d'Udekem d'Acoz, 2000

A new pontoniine shrimp from Cape Verde Islands, Pseudocoutierea wirtzi sp. nov. is described here from specimens collected on the gorgonian Leptogorgia gaini Stiasny, 1940 and the antipatharian Stichopathes lutkeni Brook, 1889. This is the first record of the genus Pseudocoutierea Holthuis, 1951 in the Eastern Atlantic.
