Ismaila copepods of the Splanchnotrophidae family are specialist parasites of sea slugs.

The pink parasitic copepod in the article photo parasitizes the Tubastrea-eating nematode Phestilla melanobrachia. The photo was taken from Taiwan. It is not known what damage this nudibranch suffers from the parasite. Unfortunately, further information is not available.
