Info

Pseudochromis howsoni is a small dwarf perch that only occurs in a very small, limited area in the north-west of Australia.
Here Pseudochromis howsoni lives on sandy-pebble bottoms near low rocks.

The male has a pale orange anterior body and a grayish posterior body, while the female is purplish gray overall.

Similar species: Pseudochromis howsoni can easily be confused with Pseudochromis moorei Fowler, 1931.

Etymology:
The species name “howsoni” was named in honor of Craig Howson, captain of the charter ship True North, for his distinguished service on several Western Australian Museum expeditions

Pseudochromis howsoni does not come into the specialized trade.
